Traditional Korean Medicine 
Traditional Korean medicine originated in ancient times and is based on the same fundamental principles as traditional Chinese medicine.
Oriental medicine considers decreased vital energy and a weakened immune system to be the cause of disease; not a problem with a particular part of the body but rather an imbalance of the life forces in the whole body.
Treatment is aimed at curing disease by strengthening the immune system, and restoring harmony within the body. Major fields of Oriental medicine include herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxa treatment and suction-cup therapy.

Yes, your explanation about Korean medicine is very adequate. Korean medicine pursuits harmony within the body.
It basically depends on Eum-Yang theory. The Universe is composed of Eum and Yang. Eum represents dark, cold, earth, wet, water, night, etc, and Yang represents bright, hot, sky, dry, fire, day, etc.
Either one of Eum or Yang become too strong or too weak than disease or change would be resulted.
Korean medicine regards human body and the Universe are basically the same.
Korean flag has a Taegeuk with red and blue colors in its center, which symbolize the harmony of Eum and Yang in the Universe or human body.
Samtaegeuk is another taegeuk in which 3 colors, red, blue and yellow, make a harmony. The 3 colors represent sky (or universe), earth and human. Sky, earth and human are called Samjae which means 3 subjects or 3 materials.
Samtaegeuk is ofter found at the gates of Korean traditional houses or Korean traditional drums. You can find it on a drum in your 3rd trailer.
Samjae is the element constituting Korean characters Hangeul too. You will be surprised that Koreans are very proud of Hangeul. Hangeul was invented by King Sejong who is the most respected king in whole Korean history. Hangeul was so scientifically and logically made, people get more and more impressed as they know more about it.
One of the most famous Korean medical plant is Insam which is known as ginseng. Ginseng is Japanese pronounciation of Insam.
The effect of Insam has been known for more than one thousand years.
Insam is effective only if grown at least for 4 years. Koreans invented the method to grow insam for more than 4 years. That's one of the major reasons why only Korean insam has been recognized as effective for more than thousand years.
There are many evidinces that Japan sent spies to know the secrets of Korean insam cultivation about 300 years ago but failed. Actually, Korea had a lot of profit from insam trading between Japan at that time.
Recent Korean insam products are mainly grown for 6 years. Now, several countries succeeded in growing insam including China, U.S.A. and Canada for more than 4 years. However, scientific analysis of insam products shows that Korean insam contains the richest special components than other insams from other countries not only quantitatively but also qualitatively.
It has been proved that Korean insam has:
1. Enhancing effect of immunological reaction without adverse reaction
So, insam is effective for many infectious diseases and known to help cancer patients to fight against cancer.
2. Enhancing effect of metabolic ability of the liver
So, insam helps people relieve from hangover after drinking, and can act as antidote of many kind of poisons.
3. Clearing effect of blood vessels
So, insam decreases blood cholesterol level, decrease blood pressure and enhance sexual performance.
4. and many more.
Good effect to diabetes, strengthen heart function, etc.
